Greetings and Welcome
from the
Greensboro Alumnae Chapter President
Desiree Best

'

In 1942, Beta Mu Sigma was born by eight, incredible women who were on a

mission. In 1963, the Grand Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated

changed alumnae chapters to geographical names, and Beta Mu Sigma became

Greensboro Alumnae Chapter (GAC).

Welcome to the website of GAC. On this site, you will find information about chapter

leadership, programs, andactivities that fall under Delta Sigma Theta’s Five Point

Programmatic Thrust: Social Action, Delta GEMS, and Delta Academy just to name

a few. View the  wonderful gallery of pictures depicting our committees exhibiting

service that promotes our mission and vision.

I hope you will visit this site often and support the many programs offered by the

Greensboro Alumnae Chapter.  With more than 400  members strong, we are

committed to public service in the community providing service that engages and inspires.

I am Desirée Best, president of the Greensboro Alumnae Chapter. Welcome to GAC!

With love,

Desirée F. Best
